Southeastern town becomes battlefield after 13-day curfew
The southeastern town of Nusaybin has become a post-war battlefield after a 13-day curfew imposed for military operations against outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) militants, while a new curfew was imposed on the southeastern town of Derik, Do?an News Agency has reported.
Curfew ends in Mardin's Nusaybin
A curfew declared in the Nusaybin district of southeastern Mardin province was lifted on Nov. 26, 13 days after it was instituted, the district's governor's office has announced.
The curfew, which was declared on Nov. 13 at 9 p.m., was lifted on Nov. 26 starting from 8 a.m., the statement said.
