The southeastern town of Nusaybin has become a post-war battlefield after a 13-day curfew imposed for military operations against outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) militants, while a new curfew was imposed on the southeastern town of Derik, Do?an News Agency has reported.

A curfew declared in the Nusaybin district of southeastern Mardin province was lifted on Nov. 26, 13 days after it was instituted, the district's governor's office has announced.

The curfew, which was declared on Nov. 13 at 9 p.m., was lifted on Nov. 26 starting from 8 a.m., the statement said.

Tunisia's President Beji Caid Essebsi declared a nationwide state of emergency and a curfew in the capital after a bomb attack on a presidential guard bus killed at least 12 people on Nov. 24.
 

A curfew has entered its tenth day in the southeastern district of Nusaybin on Nov. 22, while the curfew was ended in the Lice district of the southeastern province of Diyarbak?r. 

Residents who fled their homes because of a long curfew in the southeastern district of Silvan have returned to homes and other buildings that were severely damaged during the curfew, news website Radikal has reported.

Thousands of people living in a southeastern town in Turkey have been stuck their homes for over a week now due to a curfew imposed and clashes between security forces and militants of the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).

The other day Chief of General Staff Gen. Hulusi Akar said, ?Our heroic comrades in arms are exerting care and sensitivity not to harm civilian targets and citizens.? 

A curfew has been declared in four neighborhoods in the Bismil district of the southeastern province of Diyarbak?r, a move that reportedly came after outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) militants dug trenches and erected barricades on the streets.
