Montenegro on Alert Over Rise in Cyber Attacks
After several pro-government portals and state institutions' websites went down during the October elections, Montenegro plans to tighten cyber security to protect the government's data and records.
The government in Podgorica plans to introduce mandatory training for all public employees and to establish a joint team to deal with such incidents.

Nearly 60pct of Serbs Want to Bring Back the Death Penalty

A senior executive of the Doğan Group, the leading independent media group in Turkey, offered his resignation today amid allegations in social media that he repeatedly maintained correspondence with Berat Albayrak, the Minister of Energy and the son-in-law of President Tayyip Erdoğan, and the CEO of the rival Sabah newspaper, Serhat Albayrak, who is also the brother of the Energy Minister.

Islamic State (IS) hackers upload over 3,000 names of targets online
Hackers claiming to have ties with the Islamic State (IS) have targeted 3,600 New Yorkers, after they uploaded their personal details online. The hackers are calling on IS fighters to kill the people on the list. The FBI and police are in contact with the people on the ‘hit list’, according to international media.
