Several Turkish websites have been under cyberattack for four days, with Russian hackers claimed to be prime suspects behind the attack, daily Hürriyet has reported.

The Bulgarian government authorised on Wednesday Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Rumyana Bachvarova to conclude a contract with Microsoft for participation in the Government Security Programme.

The State Agency for National Security (DANS) was selected as main contact point for the programme, the press service of the government informs.

According to estimates of security services Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic is the person most in danger, and the army is "absolutely ready to protect him."

Hacking group Anonymous have published the names, addresses and phone numbers of five alleged recruiters working for ISIS. The internet group had first declared a cyber war on ISIS after the Paris Attacks.

The websites of the State Agency for National Security (DANS), the transport and information technologies ministry, and ballot-counting company Information Service have stopped responding.

DANS is the country's domestic security and counter-intelligence agency.

Facebook has announced that it will notify users that have been targeted by an attacker suspected of spying on them. The company’s chief security officer, Alex Stamos, explains that the warning is necessary because government-sponsored attacks are “more advanced and dangerous than others”.

The Malaysian authorities arrested Ferizi on Thursday on a US arrest warrant alleging that he hacked into a US company's computer system, took the personal details of more than 1,300 US military and government staff and passed them on to an Islamic State militant.

Hackers based in Russia penetrated the email network of the Pentagon's Joint Chiefs of Staff, leading to a two-week shutdown of the system, NBC News reported on August 6.
