Nikolic: Prague can provide much assistance on EU path
PRAGUE - Serbia sees a great friend in the Czech Republic - its friendship dates back to the pre-WWII period and, as an EU member, it can provide much assistance to Serbia in its European integration, Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic said in Prague Tuesday.

Nikolic was ceremonially welcomed by his counterpart Milos Zeman, with many citizens gathering outside the presidential palace in Prague to see their encounter, Nikolic's presidential press office said in a statement.

President on two-day visit to Czech Republic
Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic will be on an official visit to the Czech Republic on November 29-30.
Nikolic will meet Czech President Milos Zeman, as well as with numerous businesspeople, the government press office said in a statement.

Czechs "back Serbia's EU bid, and opening more chapters"
The Czech Republic "supports Serbia on its EU path and can help it open new negotiation chapters by end-year."
That is what Serbian National Assembly President Maja Gojkovic and the President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Parliament Jan Hamacek said on Wednesday, according to Tanjug.
