Serbian-Jewish Choral Society performs on April 20

BELGRADE - The Serbian-Jewish Choral Society will hold a concert at Dom Vojske in Belgrade on April 20 in honour of the friendly relations between Serbia and Israel and to mark Pesach and Easter.

The programme will include Jewish and Israeli music that stresses the common roots, intertwined traditions and coexistence of the two nations, the society said in a statement.

Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo to premier in Belgrade

BELGRADE - All male drag ballet corps Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo from New York, which is known for portraying classical ballet in a humorous style, will premier in Serbia in Belgrade's Theatre on Terazije on Sunday.

The corps will perform Swan Lake, Paquita and the Dying Swan.

Trockadero is also scheduled to perform in Novi Sad in the Serbian National Theatre.

A fascinating show that fuses kathak and flamenco, two dynamic and passionate dance styles, will be presented at Onassis Cultural Center from March 10-15.

Titled Torobaka (meaning bull cow) the show brings two firebrands together on stage. The risk-takers in question are Israel Galván and Akram Khan, promising an explosive mix.

Dance company Russian Cossacks in Belgrade in April

BELGRADE - The famous dance company Russian Cossacks will perform at Sava Centar in Belgrade on April 4 to mark the 70th anniversary of the victory over fascism.

This is the leading professional national dance company of the Russian Federation, with the title of the Great Cossack Ballet, and they have won numerous national and international awards.
