Sirtaki, a popular dance of supposed Greek origin choreographed by Giorgos Provias for the 1964 film "Zorba the Greek," is actually a Turkish dance, a top Greek dance expert told Anadolu Agency on April 9.

BELGRADE - The Serbian-Jewish Choral Society will hold a concert at Dom Vojske in Belgrade on April 20 in honour of the friendly relations between Serbia and Israel and to mark Pesach and Easter.

The programme will include Jewish and Israeli music that stresses the common roots, intertwined traditions and coexistence of the two nations, the society said in a statement.
