Serbian-Jewish Choral Society performs on April 20

BELGRADE - The Serbian-Jewish Choral Society will hold a concert at Dom Vojske in Belgrade on April 20 in honour of the friendly relations between Serbia and Israel and to mark Pesach and Easter.

The programme will include Jewish and Israeli music that stresses the common roots, intertwined traditions and coexistence of the two nations, the society said in a statement.

Traditional songs, like Ojos Pretos, Mi Querido Mi Amado, Hava Nagila, Shoshana and others, be included in the programme and serve to establish a dialogue between the two cultures.

The Israeli embassy supports the event.
