Scholarships for refugees

The US Embassy in Athens is partnering with The American College of Greece on the Education Unites 2023 program, offering fully funded scholarships to at-risk refugee, migrant and displaced students with financial needs for undergraduate and graduate degrees at Deree.

Oral business English classes at Deree

Deree, the School of Graduate and Professional Education of The American College of Greece, has announced it is offering a three-month course in oral business English every Friday from 6.30 to 9.30 p.m. from March 13.
The course ends on June 5.
The course will be hosted at 6 Gravias Street in Agia Paraskevi, northeastern Athens.

It says the new master's degree is a pioneering program in Greece that will meet the growing industry demand for trained professionals in the art, science and practice of advertising.

US Embassy in Athens to offer 100 scholarships to refugees

The U.S. Embassy in Athens, in collaboration with the American College of Thessaloniki – Anatolia College, Deree – The American College of Greece, and Perrotis College – American Farm School, announces the program “Education Unites: From Camp to Campus” that will provide higher education scholarships to 100 eligible refugees in Athens and 100 in Thessaloniki.

Greek students are EFL champions in WUDC

The team of National Technical University of Athens was crowned champions of the English-as-foreign-language (EFL) category at the World Universities Debating Championship which was held in Thessaloniki, Greece.

Maria Roussi and Theodoros Ntounias,19, won in a finals debate about the use of photographs depicting the difficult situations that refugees face.
