Mali signs an important agreement today; Serbia's getting closer to becoming a leader
This is a financial agreement that will be signed with the Vice President of the European Investment Bank (EIB), Lilyana Pavlova, for the project Gas Interconnector Nis - Dimitrovgrad - Bulgaria.

Serbia Introduces an "Open System" For Toll Payment From 1 January
From 1 January 2018, the Republic of Serbia introduces an "open system" to pay tolls for vehicles passing through the newly discovered stretch of the motorway between the cities of Dimitrovgrad and Nis.
This means that the fee will be paid only by cars coming from Bulgaria and traveling to Nis, as well as in the opposite direction.
Police, Customs officers from eastern crossing arrested
This was done on the order of the Prosecution, a statement said.
12 Customs employees from the nearby town of Dimitrovgrad, near the eastern border with Bulgaria, were also arrested, along with 13 other persons.
They are suspected of conspiracy to commit criminal acts, including receiving and giving bribes and abusing their official position, the statement said.

Negre: EIB planning to invest around 375 mln euros in Serbia
BELGRADE - The European Investment Bank (EIB) will invest around 375 mln euros in Serbia, primarily in infrastructure, EIB Director for the Western Balkans Dubravka Negre said Monday.
She announced projects to modernise the Nis-Dimitrovgrad rail line and build a Nis bypass road and a gas interconnection between Serbia and Bulgaria.
