Bulgaria: Sofia Ambulance Service Inundated with Calls, Emergency Teams Overloaded

With the spike in cases of newly infected with Covid-19 in recent days in Sofia, calls to Sofia ambulance service have increased significantly.

Emergency center spokeswoman Katya Sungarska said that in a week alone, there were 1,482 calls for patients with coronavirus symptoms, as 129 of the calls were for children.
