Pair face charges on Kos after hurting two in hit-and-run incident

Two Albanian nationals, a 34-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman, faced a prosecutor on Kos on Friday after a car being driven by the former hit two people on the island the day before. The 28-year-old had been a passenger in the car.

The pair, who fled the scene, face charges of causing a road accident, causing bodily harm and violating the highway code.

Serbia to change blood alcohol content limit for drivers

BELGRADE -- Upcoming amendments to the Law on Traffic Safety will change the blood alcohol content (BAC) limit for drivers, the Serbian interior minister has announced.

This limit is currently at 0.3 milligrams per milliliter, and will be reduced to 0.2 mg/ml, Nebojsa Stefanovic has said.

Motorists who had their license plates or driving permits revoked up until Tuesday for minor infringements such as illegal parking can request that they be returned ahead of Sunday's general elections.
