Aluminum Profiles Smart Plant to Be Built Near Plovdiv by Bulgarian Investor

The construction of BGN 40 million production plant for aluminum profiles, the largest on the Balkans, has started in Trakia Economic Zone. Minister of Economy Lachezar Borisov presented a Class A investment certificate to Zdravko Linkin, chairman of the board of directors of Interlink Group AD.

Investor Puts BGN 10 Million in a Plant for Mechanical Engineering near Plovdiv

Minister of Economy Emil Karanikol awarded a Class A investment certificate under the Investment Promotion Act to a foreign company that will invest BGN 10 million in a plant for mechanical engineering near Plovdiv, reports Darik. 

The funds are for the acquisition of new tangible fixed and intangible assets. It is expected that 100 new employees will be recruited.

OSRAM to Invest BGN 45 M in Bulgaria's Plovdiv

Bulgaria's Economy Minister Bozhidar Lukarski is set to turn the first sod on a new procution facilitiy for ligthbulb manufacturer OSRAM on Tuesday, his ministry says.

The cluster will be located within the Trakia Economic Zone of Plovdiv, the country's second-largest city.

OSRAM is to invest in it some BGN 45 M (EUR 23 M) and to employ 900 people after it is opened in 2017.
