Christ is Risen! Serbia celebrates Easter PHOTO/VIDEO

Easter liturgies were held in churches across the country, after which traditional egg-tapping contests were organized in many places. The belief is that the winner of the egg tapping contest (whoever's egg does not crack) will have the best health that year.
Many officials from the country and the region congratulated the citizens of Serbia on the great holiday.

The Bulgarian Food Safety Agency Detected New Shipment of Egg Yolk Powder with Fipronil Above the Norms

The Bulgarian Food Safety Agency (BFSA) has detected a new shipment of egg yolk powder delivered from Germany. A laboratory test found fipronil above the norms, the Agriculture Ministry said, quoted by bTV.

Treasure Hunt | Athens | April 15

The Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) invites families with young children to its garden on Saturday, April 15, for an Easter egg and treasure hunt. The objective of the game - which will be organized in 40-minute installments for up to 10 families at a time - is to find Mister Easter Bunny and take home the loot of chocolate eggs. The admission-free event runs from 10 a.m.

More than 105,000 Romanians spent 31 million lei on Easter holiday accommodation

More than 105,000 Romanian tourists spent 31.2 million lei on Easter holiday accommodation and catering services throughout the country; boarding houses were the most popular , with over 65,000 clients, according to data processed by the Federation of the Romanian Tourism Employers (FPTR).
