Vulin: 126 people stripped of disability pensions so far
BELGRADE - A hundred and twenty-six people have been stripped of disability pensions so far as part of a review process after being found to have claimed the pensions fraudulently, Minister of Labour, Employment, Social and Veteran Affairs Aleksandar Vulin said on Tuesday.

PASOK objects to plans for changes to public sector wage structure
Coalition partner PASOK has reacted to leaks about the new pay structure in the civil service by saying that it has not accepted the changes.
In a direct attack on Administrative Reform Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, PASOK said he should learn to consult more with coalition partners and spend less time on leaks to the media.
Security Services Employees Protest Over Pension Age
Police officers, fire fighters, rescuers, prison guards and military personnel protested in downtown Sofia against the planned pension age increase, reports the Nova TV national channel.
The several hundred protestors wore red clown noses and demanded the resignation of the caretaker Labour and Social Policies Minister Yordan Hristoskov.
Plan to tackle shortage of hospital doctors
Doctors at public hospitals will be hired at the same rate as departures and medical staff will not have to work longer hours than the law stipulates, according to legislation being drawn up by the Health Ministry.

BELGRADE - The Serbian government adopted a decision to set the minimum labour cost at RSD 121 per work hour in Serbia in 2015, free of taxes and contributions for mandatory social insurance.
Cyprus civil servants' strike called off
Civil servants in Cyprus on Thursday called off strike action after the government shelved plans to tax lucrative one-off retirement bonuses as part of efforts to reduce the budget deficit.
Public sector unions backed out of the industrial action that had been set for Friday after President Nicos Anastasiades assured them during a meeting that the disputed tax was off the agenda.

SSSS against measures that lead to further recession
BELGRADE - The Alliance of Independent Unions of Serbia (SSSS) does not support any of the measures of the Serbian government which entail reduction of personal income because this move leads to further recession, SSSS Secretary Zoran Mihajlovic said.
