PM Dancila: Preparations for assuming EU Council presidency, Romanian gov't's priority

Preparing for and assuming the presidency of the Council of the European Union is a priority with the government of Romania, said Prime Minister Viorica Dancila, who started meetings with the members of her cabinet on Monday to agree on the details of each portfolio.

The 70th meeting of the Directors General (DGs) of EUPAN - an informal network of the DGs responsible for public administration in the EU Member States and the European Commission - was held in Sofia as part of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union. Coreper today endorsed an agreement between the Bulgarian presidency and European Parliament representatives to set up a single digital gateway which will provide access to online information and procedures, assistance and problem-solving services to citizens and companies.
