Miscevic: Serbia is committed to reforms and EU membership

BELGRADE- Head of Serbia's negotiating team in accession talks with the EU Tanja Miscevic met on Monday with a delegation of the German federal state Baden-Wuerttemberg, and stressed that Serbian government is committed to the reforms and that its aim is not EU membership alone, but a stable Serbia with strong institutions.

More experts needed in administration to join EU faster

BELGRADE - Serbia's public servants have to be fewer in number and more efficient, and although the surplus of employees in the administration is not large, they need to be better trained.

This calls for hiring and training civil servants in order to boost the country's EU integration, according to what was concluded at a debate on measuring the performance of the public sector.
