European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity

State grid operator ADMIE intends to concede up to 39 percent of its special purpose vehicle Ariadne, created to undertake the power interconnection between Crete and Attica. The stake will be sold to third-party investors, with priority to be granted to certified power transmission operators from fellow European Union states.

ADMIE subsidiary Ariadne Interconnection officially launched the tender process regarding the technical standards for the electricity linkup between Crete and Attica on Friday, despite the objections of the European Commission.

"Manager of the Year" is held for the 11th consecutive year. The competition, which distinguishes best practices in management in Bulgaria, is conducted through a methodology specifically developed by a consulting company.

Energy and Natural Resources Minister Berat Albayrak met Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov and Energy Minister Temenuzhka Petkova in Sofia Wednesday.

Serbia's electric power transmission company Elektromreza Srbije (EMS) has purchased a 10-percent stake in Crnogorski Elektroprenosni Sistem (CGES) AD.

EMS said it bought the shares at the Montenegro Stock Exchange on Tuesday.
