'Blue Bicycle' to compete at Berlin Film Festival

Oscar nominations announced, Franco-Turkish director's Mustang in the running
The 88th annual Oscar nominations were announced on Jan. 14 in Beverly Hills, California, by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
Franco-Turkish director Deniz Gamze Ergüven's "Mustang" (France) has been nominated for the Best Foreign Language Film award, along with Colombia's "Embrace of the Serpent," Hungary's "Son of Saul," Jordan's "Theeb" and Denmark's "A War."
