Djokovic outplays Verdasco, wishes happy Christmas Eve
The world number one tennis player Novak Djokovic cruised past Fernando Verdasco of Spain 6-2, 6-2 to reach quarter-finals of the Qatar Open in Doha Wednesday.
Djokovic has an 8-4 lead in their head-to-head score. After the match, the Serbian tennis player wished a happy Christmas Eve, celebrated by Serbian Orthodox Christians according to the Julian calendar.
Verdasco upsets Nadal while Serena, Murray win
Fernando Verdasco upset second seed Rafael Nadal 6-4, 2-6, 6-3 Sunday in a third-round matchup of Spaniards to advance at the ATP and WTA Miami Open.
Nadal, a four-time Miami runner-up, leaves the Masters Series hardcourt event without a title again this year after his 11th appearance.

Bulgaria's Grigor Dimitrov Defeated in 3rd Round of Indian Wells
Spain's Tomi Robredo has ousted the Bulgarian tennis star Grigor Dimitrov from the Masters Series tournament in Indian Wells, US.
Robredo beat Dimitrov 4:6, 6:1, 5:7. He won the first set after the two had tied 4:4, and in the second it took him much to score a single game.
A series of mistakes clearly determined the outcome for Dimitrov in the third set.
Bulgaria's Grigor Dimitrov Ousted from Doubles in Indian Wells
Bulgaria's top male tennis player Grigor Dimitrov was defeated in the first round of the men's doubles competition at the Indian Wells Masters tournament on Friday.
Dimitrov and his US partner Mardy Fish lost to the Spanish duo David Ferrer and Fernando Verdasco with 3:6, 4:6.
Tennis-Djokovic makes his way into fourth round in Melbourne
MELBOURNE - World number one Novak Djokovic is through to the fourth round of the 2015 Australian Open, after beating Spain's Fernando Verdasco 7-6 (10-8), 6-3, 6-4 in the third round on Saturday.
Djokovic safely overcame a nervous start to set up a fourth round clash with Luxembourg's Gilles Muller, who upset John Isner of the United States in straight sets.

MELBOURNE - Serbian tennis player Viktor Troicki ended his run at the Australian Open in Melbourne, after losing to Tomas Berdych of the Czech Republic in a third-round match 6-4, 6-3, 6-2 on Friday morning (CET).

Zimonjic, Nestor through to Rome doubles quarter-finals
ROME - Serbia's Nenad Zimonjic and Daniel Nestor of Canada reached the men's doubles quarter-finals at the Rome Masters tournament late Wednesday by beating Kevin Anderson of South Africa and Jurgen Melzer of Austria 3-6, 7-6 (7-4), 14-12.
