Deputy Prime Minister Barnaby Joyce has called for a sugar tax on soft drinks, saying that Australia’s obesity problem is due to people “sitting on their backsides” and “eating too much food.”

World food prices rose in September to their highest since March 2015, led mainly by sugar, the United Nations food agency said on Oct. 6.
Except for a small dip in July, the Food and Agriculture Organization's (FAO) food price index has been increasing steadily since January, when it hit a seven-year low.

Bulgaria Registered 0% Inflation in January
According to preliminary figures of the National Statistical Institute (NSI) released on Monday, inflation in Bulgaria stood at 0 % in the first month of this year.
The index of consumer prices in January 2016 compared to the same month last year was 100 %, with the monthly and annual inflation both being 0%.
