Turkish, Russian foreign ministers to meet in Belgrade at 4:30 pm Istanbul time

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will meet his Turkish counterpart Mevlüt Çavu?o?lu on Dec. 3 at 3:30 pm local time on the sidelines of an Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe meeting in Belgrade, Turkish diplomatic sources told the Hürriyet Daily News.

Russia to Suspend Visa-free Travel Regime with Turkey from 2016

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has said that Russia will suspend its visa-free regime with Turkey from the beginning of next year.

"This is directly linked with the security of Russia and our citizens," TASS quoted Lavrov as saying following a meeting with Syria's Foreign Minister Walid Muallem in Moscow.

Russian, Turkish foreign ministers "could meet in Belgrade"

Turkish and Russian foreign minister "could meet next week in Belgrade," Beta is reporting, quoting foreign news agencies.

The meeting between Melvut Cavusoglu and Sergei Lavrov would come in the wake of Turkey's shooting down of a Russian warplane on the Turkish-Russian border, said the report.

Lavrov: The downing of the Russian jet was a planned provocation

Russia’s foreign minister Sergey Lavrov said the downing of a Russian jet by Turkey was a “planned provocation.”

Sergey Lavrov said on Wednesday during the press conference that Moscow will re-consider its relations with Ankara following the shooting down of the jet on the Turkey-Syria border, but he didn’t mention any specific measures Russia would take.
