Why do Turks overestimate themselves?
They do! That, at least, is what a recent survey says. According to the OECD, only 3 percent of people in Turkey say that they are underqualified for their current jobs. The OECD average is around 22 percent. What?s more, 40 percent of Turks think they are overqualified for their jobs. The OECD average for employees thinking they are overqualified? Just 25 percent.

On video - the moment the three British schoolgirls crossing the border to Syria
Turkish newspaper "Daily Sabah" publishes video showing the last moments of the three British student girls on Turkish soil, just before the cross the border to Syria.
According to the newspaper, the video was filmed by the man who helped the girls, a secret agent aged 15 and 16 years of age.

Nicosia eases restrictions on movement of capital
Bailed-out Cyprus further eased controls on its residents moving capital out of the country on Friday, but stopped short of lifting the restrictions entirely, two years after they were introduced.
Individuals will now be allowed to transfer up to 1 million euros abroad per month, an increase from 50,000 euros, the Ministry of Finance said in an announcement.

Prominent Turkish journalist receives Harvard journalism award
Renowned Turkish journalist Hasan Cemal received the Louis Lyons Award for Conscience and Integrity in Journalism in a ceremony held at the Nieman Foundation for Journalism at Harvard University on March 12.
In December 2014, the Nieman Class of 2015 chose Cemal in recognition of his long career dedicated to championing freedom of the press in Turkey.

Turkey?s exports to Egypt increased by 3.1 percent in 2014, according to the Turkish-Egyptian Business Association.
