Global stability, prosperity under threat: Çavuşoğlu
The world is shaken by the effects of the war in Ukraine and tested by war, although the wounds of the Covid-19 pandemic were not healed yet, Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said emphasizing that global stability and prosperity were under threat, and that rising energy and food prices threatened the whole world.
Diyarbakır Prison to be turned into museum
Diyarbakır Prison, which has been long associated with cruelty, torture, and inhumane acts after the Sept. 12, 1980, military coup, will be closed and turned into a museum.
The protocol regarding the transfer of the prison from the Justice Ministry to the Culture and Tourism Ministry was signed between the two ministries.

Erdoğan to meet Putin in Astana: Turkish official
Türkiye on Oct. 11 called for a ceasefire in Ukraine ahead of a meeting between President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in the Kazakh capital Astana.
"A ceasefire must be established as soon as possible. The sooner the better," Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said in an interview with the TVnet broadcaster.
