Football not just football again after Istanbul massacre
Football is once again not just football in the aftermath of a bomb attack near Istanbul's Vodafone Arena stadium and a simultaneous one just a few hundred meters soon after a Beşiktaş-Bursaspor league game.
Consuls general in Istanbul visit site of Beşiktaş terror attacks
Consuls general in Istanbul visited the site of the deadly twin bombings in front of the Vodafone Arena stadium in Beşiktaş on Dec. 12, laying wreaths at the scene.
Foreign mission representatives of more than 30 countries in Istanbul gathered in Dolmabahçe and walked to the site of the attack.
The first wreath was laid by U.S. Consul General in Istanbul Jennifer Davis.
Stories of people killed in Beşiktaş bombing begin to emerge
The police officers killed in the Dec. 10 terror attack in central Istanbul were not faceless uniforms but sons, brothers, fathers, U.K. Ambassador to Turkey Richard Moore said in a soulful tweet.
38 killed, 155 wounded in twin bombings in Istanbul: Interior minister
Some 38 people were killed and another 155 were wounded on Dec. 10 when a double bombing hit central Istanbul near Beşiktaş's Vodafone Arena Stadium.
Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu said seven civilians are among the dead, while 30 others are police officers and one of the victims has yet to be identified.
29 killed, 166 wounded in twin bombings in Istanbul: Interior minister
A total of 29 people were killed and another 166 were wounded on Dec. 10 when a double bombing hit central Istanbul near Beşiktaş's Vodafone Arena Stadium, Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu announced.
The first explosion was came from a moving car that directly targeted riot police near the stadium, Deputy Prime Minister Numan Kurtulmuş said in a press conference early on Dec. 11.
Explosion reported near Istanbul's Taksim area
An explosion occurred in Istanbul on Dec. 10 near Taksim neighborhood, private broadcaster CNN Türk has reported.
The explosion occurred near Beşiktaş's Vodafone Arena stadium following a match between Bursaspor.
A number of ambulances were dispatched to the scene.
A CNN Türk reporter said the attack might have targeted riot police at the stadium.

Başakşehir defends perch against tired Beşiktaş
Spor Toto Super League leader Medipol Başakşehir refused to allow Beşiktaş to overtake it atop the table in an exciting draw between the top flight's last two unbeaten teams during a Nov. 26 match at Beşiktaş's Vodafone Arena.
