An initiative committee, which started a petition to call a referendum against "gender ideology" and was supported by the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP), managed to collect a little over 208,000 signatures for the three-month period it had (it expired on July 26).

The Bulgarian Parliament may postpone the referendum on the euro initiated by "Vazrazhdane" for more than a year. This became clear from the words of Professor Nataliya Kiselova to Nova TV. The deadline for parliament to decide on this referendum expires on Friday.

A group of 20 civil society organisations from Bosnia and Herzegovina, gathered in the Initiative for Monitoring European Integration, has issued a warning on "the shortcomings of the Draft Law on Freedom of Access to Information of Bosnia and Herzegovina," which Bosnia's state-level government, the Council of Ministers, adopted on April 12.

The initiative committee, supported by the "Vazrazhdane" party, submitted 590,000 signatures to the Bulgaria parliament for a referendum on preserving the Bulgarian lev (BGN).

Ljubljana – The proponents of two referendum initiatives challenging the changes to the communicable diseases act which govern epidemic restrictions are to start collecting signatures for the votes on 1 September if a referendum on the bill is permitted by legal experts.

Brnabic told Happy TV that it was "unbelievable" that the people from that initiative, who, as she stated, said they were in favor of legality and constitutionality, proposed something like that.

193 MPs voted for the adoption, i.e. all those who were present.
The law shall enter into force less than eight days from the day of its publication in the Official Gazette, by a special decision of the deputies. These amendments change several articles in relation to the recently adopted Law on Referendum and People's Initiative.

Serbia's government will withdraw amendments it proposed to the Law on Expropriation and make key changes to the Law on Referendums and People's Initiative, it said on Wednesday.

As it is stated, the address will be dedicated to the current protests and the company Rio Tinto.
Vui will also speak on the occasion of the Law on Expropriation and the Law on Referendum and People's Initiative.
On that occasion, President Vucic will announce what decisions he has made regarding the laws, and in accordance with his powers.
