Bulgaria-Serbia Gas Interconnector Officially Inaugurated by Presidents Radev and Vucic

The much-anticipated launch of the Bulgaria-Serbia Interconnector (IBS) witnessed a significant ceremony graced by the presence of Presidents Rumen Radev and Aleksandar Vucic from both nations. Celebrating this milestone, the interconnector spans a total length of 170 kilometers, with 62 kilometers traversing Bulgarian terrain and linking the town of Novi Iskar in Bulgaria to Nis in Serbia.

Gas interconnector with Bulgaria to start trial operation soon - minister

PIROT - Serbian Minister of Mining and Energy Dubravka Djedovic Handanovic announced on Wednesday works on a natural gas measurement and regulation station near Pirot, southeastern Serbia, had been completed and that a gas interconnector with Bulgaria was expected to start trial operation soon.

Brnabic: Serbia, N. Macedonia to work together on Bulgarian gas transit fee issue

BELGRADE - Serbian PM Ana Brnabic said on Friday Serbia and North Macedonia would work together to resolve the issue of a gas transit fee introduced by Bulgaria.

Brnabic said this at a press conference with North Macedonian counterpart Dimitar Kovacevski in Belgrade.

Greece-Egypt power link on EU’s list

The European Commission's Directorate-General for Energy (DG Energy) has announced that it has been proposed that the power interconnector planned by Greece and Egypt, dubbed GREGY, be included in the European Union's list of Projects of Mutual Interest (PMI).

The list is expected to be endorsed by the European Parliament and the European Council within the next two months.

Djedovic, Hristov discuss cooperation on natural gas supplies

BELGRADE - Serbian Minister of Mining and Energy Dubravka Djedovic met with Bulgarian Energy Minister Rosen Hristov on Tuesday to discuss the progress of works to build a Serbia-Bulgaria gas interconnection as well as opportunities for further advancement of regional cooperation when it comes to natural gas supplies.
