Turkish Airlines has cancelled 29 flights in Istanbul ahead of expected heavy wind on Jan. 11, the company said on Jan. 10.       
 
The country's national flag carrier said in a statement that it cancelled the domestic and international flights at Istanbul Atatürk Airport because of a strong southwesterly wind.        
 

Bodies of three unidentified men have been found at a mosque in the Silopi district of Turkey's southeastern ??rnak province with the details of the killings remaining unknown, state-run Anadolu Agency reported.

Police have detained some 165 suspects wanted for various crimes in major citywide operations in Istanbul, security forces said on Jan. 10.

Four people, including two migrants, were killed early Jan. 8 in the Aegean province of Çanakkale when a bus carrying migrants collided with a car.

The Dec. 23 explosion at Istanbul's Sabiha Gökçen Airport, which led to the death of one person, was caused by multiple mortal shells, the prosecutor's investigation has revealed.
