President Iohannis, message on Justice Day: Last years, marked by repeated attempts to subordinate justice to politics
President Klaus Iohannis states in a message conveyed on Sunday, on the occasion of Justice Day, that the recent years have been marked by repeated attempts to subordinate justice to politics, through hasty amendments to the legislation organizing the judiciary, the statute of magistrates and the criminal law, but this "assault" has triggered the prompt reaction of citizens and magistrates.

Wages in the Bulgarian Judiciary are Increasing Equally for all by 10 Percent
The wages of all judges, prosecutors and investigators will increase by 10% in 2019. The same increase also applies to all employees of the judiciary, reports Dnevnik.
This was voted unanimously by the Plenum of the Supreme Judicial Council, only the chairman of the Supreme Court of Cassation Lozan Panov was absent.
