BELGRADE - Serbia greatly appreciates the work of the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX) on the promotion of human rights and protection of rights of Serbs in Kosovo-Metohija (KiM), Serbian First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic said Wednesday.

BELGRADE - Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic denied on Tuesday that the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has sent a message to the president recommending that the military parade in Moscow should be attended by the Second World War veterans, instead of members of the Serbian Guard.

The two Serbs were acquitted of killing policeman Enver Zymberi in an attack on a police convoy amid heightened tensions in northern Kosovo in July 2011.

BELGRADE - Kosovo Police Regional Chief of Operations Zeljko Bojic said in the wake of the attack on the Serb young men who was stabbed and taken to hospital wounded late on Thursday that the Kosovo Police would strengthen its presence in Mitrovica.

Police patrol "did not react" as Serb teen was attacked

KOSOVSKA MITROVICA -- Three members of the Kosovo police who were on duty as a 17-year-old Serb was stabbed in an incident in Kosovska Mitrovica have been suspended.

This announcement was made on Friday, a day after the incident, by Deputy Regional Commander of the Kosovo Police Besim Hoti.

FM says he was "misquoted" about EU

BELGRADE -- Ivica Dacic says it is "nothing new" that Serbia faces new and more difficult conditions every time it meets "a major requirement in moving closer to the EU."

Dacic: "Even if we recognized Kosovo, EU wouldn't want us"

Serbian Foreign Minister and First Deputy Prime Minister Ivica Dacic has said that Serbia, "even if it recognized Kosovo," would not be able to join the EU.

The reason for this, he told the Russian website Sputnik in an interview, is that "there will always be some new conditions."
