Turkish Development Minister Lütfi Elvan has invited Kuwaiti businesspeople to make investments jointly with their Turkish counterparts, during a two-day visit to the Gulf. 

More than 150,000 Syrian babies have been born in Turkey since Syria's crisis began, Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Lütfi Elvan said on Feb. 29, underscoring the humanitarian burden incurred by Ankara during the conflict.

The Justice and Development Party?s (AKP) refusal to take disciplinary action against Istanbul deputy Abdurrahim Boynukal?n indicates that it supports recent physical attacks against the offices of daily Hürriyet, main opposition Republican People?s Party (CHP) leader Kemal K?l?çdaro?lu has said.

Video footage released by private broadcaster CNN Türk has shown Justice and Development Party?s (AKP) Istanbul MP Abdurrahim Boynukal?n defending the Sept. 6 and 8 attacks on daily Hürriyet during a meeting with AKP youth in the southern province of Mersin.

Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davuto?lu has announced undersecretaries from relevant ministries would be appointed in order to replace the ministers of the interior, justice and transportation ministries, who have to procedurally resign from their posts as part of a constitutional obligation designed to ensure a neutral election environment.

A commission at the Turkish Parliament has approved a much-debated omnibus bill giving authority to the prime minister or any of his ministers to block any website without a court order for a broad range of reasons.
