Expert health committee to discuss school reopening on Monday
Greece's committee of health experts is expected to convene on Monday to decide on whether to allow schools to reopen briefly ahead of the Christmas holidays.
Schools had been scheduled to reopen on Monday with the expiry of the second lockdown extension, though the decision was postponed over the persistence of a high number of new coronavirus infections and hospitalizations.
Crisis Staff press conference scheduled for today at 3 p.m.
As of today, additional measures are in force in Serbia to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, which means that after 5 pm and on weekends, only grocery stores, pharmacies and gas stations can work.
Also, the markets will be open on weekends from 6 am to 3 pm.

As it is stated, the measures were adopted with the goal of reducing social contacts to an absolute minimum, with the hope that they will give the desired result and that in the days ahead, we will see that in the numbers of people infected with the coronavirus.

One of them will be that catering facilities and facilities of service activities can only work until 5 pm on weekdays, while they will not work at all for the weekends. After being adopted by the government, the measures will take effect on Friday.

Restrictive measures that will be valid from Friday mean that catering and trade companies, restaurants, cafes and bars, clubs, shopping malls, playrooms, bookmakers, shops and all other stores will be able to work on weekdays until 5 pm, while on weekends they will not work at all - from Friday at 5 pm to Monday at 5 am.

Extended supermarket opening hours to continue till May 9
The extended opening hours for supermarkets will continue beyond April 25, following a decision by Development and Investments Minister Adonis Georgiadis on Thursday.
Large food stores, including supermarkets, will continue to open from Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Saturday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. until May 9 at least, as has been the case since March 26.
Balkan Countries Start to Lift Some Coronavirus Restrictions
Several countries have announced this week that they will start to gradually lift some of the measures they introduced to curb the COVID-19 pandemic, but slowly and in stages.
Store opening hours on Easter weekend
Supermarkets will be open for six hours on Friday while on Saturday they will remain open until the evening. according to the General Secretariat for Commerce and Consumer Protection.
The schedule is as follows:
- Friday: Supermarkets 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.; the remaining stores whose operation has not been suspended by state decision until 9 p.m.

Vucic announced: Curfew from 5 pm on Friday, to 5 am on Tuesday
This means that the curfew in Serbia will last 84 hours during the Easter holiday.
This information was announced and confirmed by President Aleksandar Vucic, while being hosted in RTS.
As he said, the decision will be made soon.
"Citizens will be able to go to the shops and buy groceries for Good Friday, while Monday and Tuesday are non-working days anyway".
