It was happening again. It was snowing like winter on the day it was supposed to be for celebrating spring. Actually, what we used to think of being abnormal, might be the new normal now. On a normal March 21st, one expects to go out in fields and gardens to celebrate the coming of spring.

Lamb for the Easter holidays will cost between BGN 25 and BGN 29 per kilogram. The exact price will depend on the cut. Simeon Karakolev, co-chairman of the National Sheep and Goat Breeding Association, stated this on the Bulgarian National Television.

He assured that the price of lamb this year will remain almost unchanged and if there is an increase, it will be minimal.

A group of vegans took to the streets of Athens to protests against the Easter custom of spit-roasted lamb. The group was dressed in black and held placards with images of slaughtered lambs and goats on Ermou Street in downtown Athens, Sunday.
