In a show of solidarity with Cyprus, French President Emmanuel Macron sent a stern message to Turkey on Thursday that Paris and the European Union will not tolerate violations in the Eastern Mediterranean.

Electricity restored in Poros after plane crash
Greek authorities said on Thursday they have fully restored electricity to the island resort of Poros, a day after a private helicopter hit its main power line and crashed into the sea, killing all three men on board.
The accident knocked out the island's power supply at the height of the summer tourist season.

Three die in helicopter crash near Poros
Three people died after a private helicopter crashed Tuesday near the Saronic island of Poros, some 60 kilometers south of Athens, after reportedly hitting electrical wires.
The accident took place at 3.40 p.m. Coast Guard rescue crews recovered the bodies of two Russian tourists and their Greek pilot.

Two dead, one missing after helicopter crashes in the sea
Two people were killed and one went missing after a helicopter crashed into the sea off the coast of the Saronic island of Poros on Tuesday.
Coast Guard rescue crews responded to the crash recovering two bodies, believed to be Russian tourists. The Greek pilot was still missing.
US urges Turkey to seize all activity in Cyprus’ EEZ
The US State Department on Tuesday called on Turkish authorities to cease immediately any "unlawful activities" in Cyprus' territorial sea and remove its drillship, Yavuz.
Turkey has already established a presence in the region with its Yavuz and Fatih drillships and the Barbaros research vessel.

According to the owners of chalets in Pirin, dozens of organized groups from England, Germany and Romania made reservations for the month of August in the mountain tourist complexes already 2 months ago.
