Greek minister "ready to bring down govt" over name deal
The head of the right-wing Independent Greeks party has indicated he is prepared to bring down the coalition government over the issue, the AP is reporting.
The agreement reached between Greek and Macedonian prime ministers has been met with opposition and protests in both countries. At the same time, Macedonian President Gjorge Ivanov is refusing to sign the deal.
Moldova President Threatens to Block New Security Strategy
Moldova's President Igor Dodon told Russian newspaper Nezavisimaya Gazeta on Monday that he will block the adoption of his country's new National Defence Strategy document if some of his suggested amendments are not implemented by parliament.

Serbian PM welcomes Norwegian counterpart in Belgrade
Solberg, who is on an official visit here, was welcomed in a ceremony involving the Guards of Serbian Army and the sounding of the two nations' national anthems of the two countries.
The ceremonial welcome was followed by a closed-door meeting between Brnabic and Solberg, who are scheduled to speak to reporters afterwards.

"Deadlines and pressure will not speed up Kosovo talks"
The foreign minister of Serbia at the same time stressed that pressure will not accelerate reaching a compromise.
"The United States is already very much well informed and indirectly involved in the whole process," Dacic told the daily Vecernje Novosti, commenting on the call of Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj to engage the United States in the dialogue.

US Congress Committee Presses Serbia on Bytyqi Murders
The US Congress’ House Foreign Affairs Committee adopted a resolution urging Belgrade to prosecute the killers of the Albanian-American Bytyqi brothers, murdered in 1999 after being detained by Serbian police.
4 hurt in Smederevo steel mill fire
Tanjug said it learned unofficially that a small explosion caused the blaze.
The factory's owner, HBIS GROUP Serbia, confirmed the incident and said the injured workers were receiving medical treatment in Smederevo's Emergency Center, and that, according to unofficial information, they "felt well."
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
