LDK to Support Kosovo Minority Government From Opposition
In an abrupt turn of events in Kosovo, the leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, on Thursday said his party was willing to vote for a minority government led by Albin Kurti's Vetevendosje party, but will stay in opposition and not join it.
Past Feuds Overshadow Kosovo Coalition Talks
Vetevendosje and the Democratic League of Kosovo, LDK, resumed their talks on Monday in a bid to reach a coalition agreement in Kosovo - which still has no government.
However, many question whether the two old rivals can clear away all the animosities from the past.

Kosovo's Finance Minister to Run for PM
LDK leader and prime minister of Kosovo Isa Mustafa announced that Avdullah Hoti would stand as the party's candidate to head up the future government following a meeting with the LDK presidency on Tuesday.
"Their proposal, as well as mine, is for Avdullah Hoti to be the candidate for Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo" Mustafa said.

Kosovo Ruling Party Officials Hint at Snap Polls
Shkuri Buja, an MP with the ruling Kosovo Democratic Party, PDK, which is currently in government with its junior partner, the Democratic League of Kosovo, LDK, told BIRN on Tuesday that the break-up of the coalition is near.

K. Albanian politician chats with dead party founder
A high ranking official of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) has visited the grave of the party's founder, Ibrahim Rugova.
On this occasion, Haki Borovci revealed, he "informed Rugova about certain issues."
Kosovo MPs Hold Marathon Debate on Activist's Death
MPs from the ruling coalition of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, PDK, and the Democratic League of Kosovo, LDK, convoked an extraordinary session of parliament to discuss the death of opposition activist Astrit Dehari - having earlier refused to discuss the matter on the grounds that they were awaiting the official forensic report.
