Incident at Hürriyet Ankara building inspected
Seven panel windows at the Do?an Media Center building in Ankara, which hosts Ankara offices of daily Hürriyet and Hürriyet Daily News, exploded at around 5 p.m. on Dec. 12.
Ankara Governor's office said in statement that the incident was not linked to a gun attack according to the inspections as police officials said no ballistic traces were found.

Ahmet Ümit sells 300,000 in one week
The first edition of a new novel by Turkish novelist Ahmet Ümit, titled "Elveda Güzel Vatan?m" (Farewell my Beautiful Motherland), sold out within the first week after its release on Dec. 5, causing the book's publisher, Everest, to print 50,000 more copies.
