4,417 people infected with novel coronavirus in Romania - 182 deaths

Bucharest, April 7 /Agerpres - A number of 4,417 people have been confirmed so far in Romania with the novel coronavirus, the Strategic Communication Group (GCS) reported on Tuesday. Since the last information sent by GCS, another 360 cases of illness have been registered. Of the infected persons, 460 were declared cured and discharged from hospital.

IntMin Vela announces suspension of flights to and from the US and some European countries

The Minister of Interior, Marcel Vela, on Saturday informed in a press statement he made at the MAI (Ministry of Interior) headquarters, while presenting the provisions of the Military Ordinance No. 7, that the authorities decided to suspend all flights to and from the US and a series of European countries, for a period of 14 days, starting with April 5.

The Strategic Communication Group (GCS), the official coronavirus communication task force, has reported two more deaths from novel coronavirus infection in Romania: a 75-year-old woman and an 84-year-old woman. Bucharest, Mar 28 /Agerpres/ - A man aged 74 from Hunedoara County, infected with the novel coronavirus, has died, the number of deaths reaching 30, the Strategic Communication Group (GCS) informed Saturday. The man was admitted to the Oncology Ward of the County Hospital in Deva, with terminal neoplasm.
