Another six have died in Romania after being infected with the new coronavirus, bringing the COVID-19 death toll to 357, Agerpres reported.

Two more people infected with the novel coronavirus have died in Romania, the death toll reaching 205, the Strategic Communication Group reported on Wednesday. Bucharest, April 7 /Agerpres - A number of 4,417 people have been confirmed so far in Romania with the novel coronavirus, the Strategic Communication Group (GCS) reported on Tuesday. Since the last information sent by GCS, another 360 cases of illness have been registered. Of the infected persons, 460 were declared cured and discharged from hospital.

The Minister of Interior, Marcel Vela, on Saturday informed in a press statement he made at the MAI (Ministry of Interior) headquarters, while presenting the provisions of the Military Ordinance No. 7, that the authorities decided to suspend all flights to and from the US and a series of European countries, for a period of 14 days, starting with April 5.

The Strategic Communication Group (GCS), the official coronavirus communication task force, has reported two more deaths from novel coronavirus infection in Romania: a 75-year-old woman and an 84-year-old woman. The first is from Neamt County, admitted on March 28 to the Piatra Neamt County Hospital for intensive care.

Bucharest, Mar 28 /Agerpres/ - A man aged 74 from Hunedoara County, infected with the novel coronavirus, has died, the number of deaths reaching 30, the Strategic Communication Group (GCS) informed Saturday. The man was admitted to the Oncology Ward of the County Hospital in Deva, with terminal neoplasm.

Bucharest, March 25 /Agerpres/ - A group of 190 Romanian citizens was repatriated, on Wednesday evening, from Rome, by a charter plane operated by TAROM, informs a release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE) issued for AGERPRES.

The plan of measures announced by the Government seems to be made to save banks or multinationals, certainly not Romanian companies, especially SMEs, or the population, the Confederation of Authorized Operators and Transporters of Romania (COTAR) representatives said, in a release, sent, on Monday, to AGERPRES.
