July 15 conference canceled in Sweden

A conference on the failed July 15 coup that was to be organized by the Union of European Turkish Democrats in Sweden was canceled on Oct. 14, allegedly due to pressure by an alderman. 
Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu had a phone conversation with Swedish Foreign Minister Margot Wallström over the incident and conveyed his unease on Oct. 14.

Malaysia has deported three Gülenists, says Turkish FM

Three wanted members of the Gülen movement, believed to be behind Turkey's July 15 coup attempt, were deported from Malaysia on Oct. 13, Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said on Oct. 14.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of a hospital in Antalya, Çavuşoğlu said Malaysia sent back to Turkey three members of the group who took refuge in the country. 

Turkey ready to give all kinds of support in Mosul operation: Foreign minister

Ankara is ready to provide "all kinds of support" in the fight against the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) in a planned Mosul operation, Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu vowed on Oct. 7, in response to a question on whether Turkey has proposed that its troops stationed in northern Iraq can take part in the offensive.

US ambassador is 'not a governor of Turkey,' says Turkish FM

Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu has slammed the recent statement by the U.S. Embassy in Ankara, saying the U.S. ambassador in Turkey "is not a governor."

"Some statements, especially coming from our allies, make us sad at a time when we are fighting against terrorism," Çavuşoğlu said on Sept. 13 in his hometown Antalya.
