Vucic: New Belgrade-Surcin motorway section to be opened March 31
BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic announced on Wednesday a New Belgrade-Surcin motorway section would be opened to traffic on March 31.
Once it is completed, it will provide the shortest traffic route to the Milos the Great Motorway and Cacak will be just an hour's drive away from Belgrade, Vucic said after a tour of the construction site of the Surcin 1 interchange.

Travelling on the section of the Surcin-Obrenovac highway will be free of charge.
Two centuries of Second Serbian Uprising
BELGRADE - Today marks two centuries of the Second Serbian Uprising, also known as the second Serbian revolution against the Ottoman Empire.
At a meeting of the national council in Takovo on April 23, 1815, Milos Obrenovic heralded the start of the uprising with his famous quote: "Here I am, and here you are at war against Turks."

Nikolic unveils monument to Prince Milos Obrenovic
POZEGA - President Tomislav Nikolic unveiled in Pozega on Thursday a monument to Prince Milos Obrenovic, leader of the Second Serbian Uprising against the Ottoman rule.
The monument was unveiled to mark the two hundred years since the uprising, which broke out on April 23, 1815 in Takovo.
