Bulgarian Cabinet to Allocate BGN 5 M to Special Police Force
The Bulgarian government decided to allocate slightly over BGN 5.1 M for the purchase of equipment to be used by the specialised police forces and the gendarmerie.
This was announced by the deputy chief secretary of the interior ministry Georgi Abadzhiev at a briefing on Friday.

The director of Bulgaria's Traffic Police (KAT) Anton Antonov submitted a notice for leave, but his resignation has not been accepted yet.
Antonov resigned due to personal reasons, but will remain within the system of the Interior Ministry, daily Dnevnik reports.
