First Deputy PM and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic received on Friday Ambassador of Qatar to Serbia Mubarak bin Fahad Jassim Mohammed Al Thani.

The two officials examined bilateral issues and improvement of cooperation of Serbia and Qatar, as well as the upcoming visit of the Emir of Qatar, which will take place in the second half of November.

Turkey asked Qatar, which has been under a  blockade by Arab countries since June, to join hands for sustainable food production, the Turkish economy minister said on Aug. 3.

Nihat Zeybekci, proposed that Turkey, instead of sending finished goods to Qatar, could send raw materials, which Qatar could process at its own plants.

BELGRADE - Serbian PM Aleksandar Vucic on Monday met with Qatari FM Sheikh Mohammed Bin Abdulrahman Bin Jassim Al Thani, with whom he agreed that both countries had an interest in establishing a partnership and developing their cooperation.
