After yesterday’s appearance in Moschato, the Prime Minister plans more targeted tours in the next period, while he plans to be in Kalavrita on Tuesday

A security alert was triggered on Thursday following the discovery of a suspicious item found behind an outdoor air conditioner unit of a bank in Tavros, a suburb in southwestern Athens.

The object, identified as a backpack, was found by a bank employee who alerted the police.

A bomb disposal unit has arrived in the area to determine the seriousness of the threat, police said.

Three minors, aged 15, 16, and 14, were arrested for damage to private property and complicit bodily harm in the late hours of August 31 by Greek police officers. 

The continuation of large deviations in the taxable property rates (known as objective values) in relation to the actual prices in the market makes the objective value review process that has already started in several municipalities more difficult.

A war has erupted between the southern Athens municipalities of Moschato-Tavros and Kallithea and the Attica Regional Authority over the redevelopment of Faliro Bay.
