The 34th International Ankara Music Festival, organized by the Sevda-Cenap And Foundation, will meet music lovers between April 4 and 30 in the Turkish capital. 

Turkish cultural authorities have announced the creation of a classical music festival to promote Göbeklitepe, one of the world's most important archaeological sites on the tentative list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites, with performances set for Istanbul and the eastern province of ?anl?urfa. 

Belgrade hosts one of the world’s most important guitar music festivals and features a wide range of international artists.

The 13th Beer Fest Music Festival will take place in Belgrade from August 19 to 23.

Around 700,000 people are expected to visit the event, officials said during a news conference on Thursday.

The 10th INmusic festival opens on Monday on Lake Jarun in Zagreb, bringing fans three days of rock and electronic music from popular bands around the world.

With multiple concerts happening at the same time, last year's festival attracted a record 70,000 visitors.

BELGRADE - Sea Dance Festival, the sea edition of EXIT Adventure, has been named the Best European Medium-Sized Festival - in the category for events with up to 40,000 daily attendees - at this year's European Festival Awards 2014 ceremony.

The municipality of Balchik, a town on the Black Sea coast in north-eastern Bulgaria, will invest BGN 1.16M in tourism development programme in 2015, according to the BTA wire service.

Part of the sum will be used for supporting various international festivals, which will popularise the town and attract tourists.
