Suspected Islamist militants bombed three police stations in Egypt's second city Alexandria on Feb. 10, wounding 10 people, and also targetted two other locations, an interior ministry official said. 

Nobody was injured in the two other blasts in the eastern part of the city, said Major General Amin Ezz al-Din, assistant interior minister for Alexandria. 

An Egyptian court has set Feb. 24 as the date to consider a lawsuit demanding that Turkey be designated as a "state that supports terrorism," a judicial source has said.

U.S. officials have told their Turkish counterparts that Washington is sorry for not taking Ankara?s proposals and views on increasing radicalism in Syria and Iraq into consideration, Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavu?o?lu has claimed.

Ankara will look into the content of the TV stations with alleged links to the Muslim Brotherhood broadcasting online to Egypt through Turkey, the Turkish Foreign Ministry has stated.

The U.S. Department of State has conveyed its concerns about the relationship between Hamas and Turkey to Turkish officials, a day after Ankara said the leader of Hamas is "welcome in Turkey."
