Hamas authorizes Abbas to negotiate, Turkish FM says
Hamas have authorized the Palestinian National Authority to negotiate on behalf of the group, Foreign Minister Ahmet DavutoÄlu has said, underlining the presence of a growing relationship between Mahmoud Abbas and Khaled Mashaal.
Hamas says it fired three rockets at Israel airport
Palestinian Islamist movement Hamas said July 25 it fired three rockets at Tel Aviv airport, a day after US and some European airlines had resumed flights after a two-day suspension.
"At 11:45 am (0845 GMT), the Qassam Brigades bombarded Ben Gurion airport with three M75 rockets," a statement from Hamas's armed wing said.
