Romanian Liberals Back PM for New Term
Romania's technocrat Prime Minister Dacian Ciolos said on Tuesday that he would not run in the upcoming general elections but would accept another mandate as head of the cabinet if he finds he can work with the National Liberal Party and if it will support his ideas for reform.

Former LibDems propose Gorghiu as sole Liberal leader (sources)
The former Liberal Democrats (PD-L, now merged with National Liberal Party under latter's name) have proposed that the National Liberal Party (PNL) be led by current co-chair Alina Gorghiu solely, with MEP Daniel Buda being authorized to sign the party tickets for the December elections on the part of the former PD-L, according to sources within the party.
