Citizens have contacted the authorities about new anti-parking poles at the stop at the National Palace of Culture (NDK) tunnel in Sofia, reports Mediapool. 

The old poles were removed, new holes were made in the granite slabs and new poles are being placed with reflective strips. They are, however, placed not in a straight line, but in an unprofessional way.

Minister of Culture Boil Banov made a surprising inspection of the repair works at the National Palace of Culture, the Ministry press office reported.

"The repair of the National Palace of Culture will be completed in time," said Minister of Culture Boil Banov, according to bTV. 

After many protests against its dismantling, the monument "1300 years of Bulgaria" was finally dismantled, a reporter at BGNES reported.

The figures which has been removed are going  to be restored and preserved as exhibits at the National Museum of History.

Miroslav Borshoch, the former manager of the National Palace of Culture (NDK), has decided not to appear before the parliamentary committee looking into money spending at NDK, he announced on Facebook.

Investigators have questioned Lilyana Pavlova, Minister of Bulgaria's EU Council Presidency, as a witness, the Bulgarian National Television reported, quoted by inews.bg.

She was questioned in connection with the charges against Miroslav Borshoch, former manager of the National Palace of Culture (NDK).

Until recently, Minister Pavlova was the principal of NDK.

''The delay in the repair of the National Palace of Culture (NDK) is not fatal - the future of the Palace is stable'', said the Culture Minister Boil Banov acoording to BTV.

''Although the deadline for completion of the repair works by September 20 could not be met'', the minister said, ''everything will be ready before the end of the year''.

Yesterday, the Deputy Prime Minister Tomislav Donchev was interrogated by the Prosecutor's Оffice about the National Palace of Culture (NDK), the spokesman of the Prosecutor's office General Rumyana Arnaudova said.

Donchev was the head of the National Palace of Culture in the previous government of GERB.

Three ministers - Deputy Prime Minister Tomislav Donchev, EU Council Chairmanship Minister Lilyana Pavlova and Minister of Culture Boil Banov will be "questioned" today in parliament.

Angel Mitev, who until now led the state-owned company "Restoration", took over the post of Executive Director of the National Palace of Culture after the withdrawal of Miroslav Borshosh from the position, Minister of Culture Boil Banov announced at a special press conference, according to bTV.
