A 26-year-old fifth-generation fisherman from the Greek port city of Piraeus has been named Europe's Young Champion of the Earth by the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), a prestigious award that also provides seed funding and mentorship to promising environmentalists around the world.

Frigoglass posts double-digit growth

Freezer and glass bottle and jar manufacturer Frigoglass saw its sales rise 14.2 percent in the second quarter of 2019, to 162.69 million, up from 142.44 million in the same period in 2018.

Development of Serbian internet infrastructure to accelerate - D&B

BELGRADE - The signature of an agreement between the Serbian government and the Chinese company Huawei to build a new, faster internet network will help accelerate the development of the internet infrastructure in Serbia, the credit rating agency Dun & Bradstreet said in its June report.

Rasim Ljajic announced on Wednesday a plan to provide "every citizen" in Serbia with internet connections of a minimum 30 megabits per second.

The minister of trade and telecommunications, who is also one of Serbia's deputy prime ministers, added that "at least 50 percent of all households" will have 100 mbps download speeds.
