Nearly 50% of Bulgarians have a Smartphone and do not Part with it
A survey among mobile phone owners shows that 43 percent of Bulgarians check their smartphones at least several times within one hour and 48 percent admit to returning home if they have forgotten their phone even if they are late , BTA reported.
Virtual Mobile Operator will be Created by Five TV and Internet Providers
Five regional TV and Internet providers have joined together to create the first virtual mobile operator in Bulgaria and for this purpose are already negotiating with the three GSM operators in Bulgaria to use their mobile telecommunication network.
Only 34% of Bulgarian Companies Actively Use Social Networks
Only 34% of companies in Bulgaria use at least one social media to develop their marketing strategies and receive feedback from customers. This is reported by Eurostat.
According to their data, our country is at one of the last places in the EU, with only Latvia (30%) and Poland (27%) are after us.
Greeks pay dear for mobile services
Greece is the most expensive country in terms of cell phone services among the member-states of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development.
OECD data revealed this week that Greek mobile phone users pay much more for their service than the average European, Turkish or Mexican consumer. Charges in Greece are two or even three times the OECD average.

Over 60% of People Between 16 and 74 Years of Age use Internet Almost Every Day
The results of the survey on the use of ICT in households and individuals in 2017 show that in 2017 58.8% of the population between the ages of 16 and 74 use a computer every day or at least once a week at work, at home or elsewhere. This was announced by the National Statistical Institute.

Greece's mobile market looks set for recovery
The Greek cell phone market looks set to post a recovery this year, as a study conducted by the Athens University for Economics and Business for the association of mobile telephony companies (EEKT) pointed to a 1.4 percent increase in revenues from cell services in 2017 against last year.
The recovery is projected to continue in 2018, when a further rise of 1.9 percent is expected.

'Explosion' Reported on London Tube Train
Police are investigating an "incident" on a District Line underground train at Parsons Green, south-west London, reported BBC.
Officers and ambulance staff are on the scene following reports on social media of an "explosion" in a carriage.
A picture on social media showed a white bucket inside a supermarket bag, but does not appear to show extensive damage in the carriage.
