Djokovic gives Serbia 1-0 lead in Davis Cup clash with Spain
BELGRADE - Serbia on Friday took a 1-0 lead in the Davis Cup quarter-final tie against Spain as Novak Djokovic, Serbia's top-ranked male tennis player, defeated Albert Ramos Vinolas 6-3, 6-4, 6-2 after just under two hours of play at the Aleksandar Nikolic Hall in Belgrade.
In a flawless display - possibly his best this season - Djokovic controlled the match throughout.
Djokovic, Ramos-Vinolas to open Serbia vs Spain DC clash
BELGRADE - Serbia's top-ranked male tennis player Novak Djokovic and Albert Ramos-Vinolas were on Thursday drawn to open the Serbia vs Spain Davis Cup quarter-final tie in Belgrade.
Djokovic and Ramos-Vinolas will take to the court at the Aleksandar Nikolic Hall at 3 pm Friday, with the match to be followed by Viktor Troicki vs Pablo Carreno Busta.
Troicki: With Djokovic, we are favourites against Spain
BELGRADE - With Novak Djokovic, the Serbia Davis Cup team is the favourite in the quarter-final tie against Spain, Serbia's Viktor Troicki said Monday.
Troicki, Serbia's second highest ranked male tennis player, has no regrets about Rafael Nadal, David Ferrer, Roberto Bautista Agut or Feliciano Lopez not coming to Belgrade.

Grigor Dimitrov getting closer to ATP top ten
Bulgarian tennis player Grigor Dimitrov has climbed to 12th position in the world rankings after the end of the Miami Masters. Dimitrov progresses one place in the ATP rankings with a total of 2880 points, BNR said.
Andy Murray (Britain) remains at the top with 11960 points, followed by Novak Djokovic (Serbia) with 7915 points and Stan Wawrinka (Switzerland) with 5785 points.

BELGRADE - Serbia's top-ranked male tennis player Novak Djokovic will lead the national team in the Davis Cup quarter-final against Spain, player/head coach Nenad Zimonjic announced on Tuesday.
Besides world number 2 Djokovic and Zimonjic, who is world doubles number 56, the Serbian team includes world number 38 Viktor Troicki and world number 85 Dusan Lajovic.

Kyrgios knocks Djokovic out of Indian Wells
INDIAN WELLS - Serbia's Novak Djokovic has surrendered his title at the ATP World Tour Masters 1000 Indian Wells tennis tournament after losing 6-4, 7-6 (7-3) to Australian Nick Kyrgios in the fourth round late Wednesday.
Thanks to fantastic serves, Kyrgios won the match without conceding any break points to Djokovic, against whom he is now 2-0 head-to-head.

Djokovic, Troicki, Zimonjic all end Indian Wells doubles campaigns
INDIAN WELLS - Serbians Novak Djokovic and Viktor Troicki have ended their men's doubles campaign at the ATP World Tour Masters 1000 Indian Wells tennis tournament after losing 3-6, 6-2, 10-6 to Raven Klaasen of South Africa and Rajeev Ram of the US in the quarter-finals.

INDIAN WELLS - Serbia's Novak Djokovic is through to the fourth round of the ATP World Tour Masters 1000 Indian Wells tennis tournament after beating Argentine Juan Martin Del Potro 7-5, 4-6, 6-1 in an excellent display early Wednesday.
With his 300th Masters victory, Djokovic extended his winning streak at Indian Wells to a record 19 matches, surpassing Roger Federer.
