Bulgarian Appointed as Head of UN Centre for Central Asia
UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon appointed on Tuesday the Bulgarian Petko Draganov as his Special Representative and Head of the UN Regional Centre for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia (UNRCCA) in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan.
Draganov succeeds the Slovak Miroslav Jenca, who was recently appointed as Assistant Secretary-General for Political Affairs, the site of UNRCCA informs.

Apple Halts Online Sales in Russia Over Ruble Instability
The technological giant Apple has temporarily suspended online sales in Russia, because of the instability of the ruble, reports Bloomberg.
"Our online store in Russia is currently unavailable while we review pricing," Alan Hely, spokesperson of Apple told Bloomberg in an e-mail on Tuesday. "We apologise to customers for any inconvenience."
Gojkovic to visit Azerbaijan on Thursday, Friday
BELGRADE - Serbian Parliament Speaker Maja Gojkovic will visit Azerbaijan on December 11 and 12 and confer with Azerbaijani top officials on promotion of bilateral relations.
During the official visit to Baku, Gojkovic will meet with President Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister Artur Rasizade, the speaker's office released in a statement.

The value of dud checks issued in the first 10 months of the year reached 255.8 million euros, according to credit data company Tiresias.
The value of unpaid bills of exchange reached 73.8 million euros.

Museums, sites around Attica to stay open for Sunday's full moon
Many of the Greek capitals museums and archaeological sites will be open to the public tomorrow night in celebration of the August full moon, the biggest of the year.
